CANIDAE Trophy Truck Does Not Go Far, But Reaches a Long Way!

The CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods team has developed a sort of Bermuda Triangle North of San Felipe just past the infamous Zoo Road crossing. Within feet of the exact spot that CANIDAE's Class 10 car broke an axle in the 2009 Baja 1000, the CANIDAE Trophy Truck rolled to a stop with a blown motor at this year s SCORE San Felipe 250. A huge disappointment for the team considering how well the truck was running with driver Scott Whipple behind the wheel. The weekend was not a total loss however.

On Friday, the day before the race, members of the CANIDAE Racing team dropped in to the ZAPP s Animal Clinic near San Felipe to meet the owners and doctors as well as some of the volunteer staff that make this amazing facility work. Not even open a year, this no kill animal shelter has performed over 6000 spay and neuter procedures and rescued thousands of animals.
