CANIDAE Pet Foods Top Fuel Team will defend their world record and NSDA championship title at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex and the 2010 Walt's RV Summer Nationals.Last time out, at the NSDA Canidae Pet Foods Nationals in April, Team Canidae crushed their own world record by turning in a series of 2.2 passes culminating in a 2.221 ET at 172.79 MPH in the finals for the win. At this weekend's Walt's RV Summer Nationals, the team hopes to continue their impressive performance in the Top Fuel class by shooting for another victory.
The new home base for the sport of sand drag racing, the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Complex in Southern California will again play host to this third race of the NSDA 2010 season, with qualifying runs starting this Friday, May 14th leading up to the finals on Sunday the 16th.
